Vistani Set

Currently now, there is a stronger version available in Moonstone Mask, after pick the quest to meet Lord Neverember and head to Undermountain.

But you might still want to get the vintage Vistani Set, so there we go:

Once your character becomes level 70 you are going to need to get a proper gear to face the several perils awaiting for you, and to serve you as a decent point of departure from where you can start working in the acquisition of a greater gear.

Good news: There is a quest that will reward you with a complete set of gear, the Vistani Set, raising your Item Level near 8,500!

This reward includes a complete set of rare pieces with IL 420 each of them, containing: Head, Armor, Arms, Main Hand, Off Hand, Boots, Neck, Ring 1, Ring 2, Belt, Shirt, Pants, Primary & Secondary Artifacts.

The equipment slots will be filled with Rank 8 Enchantments (on your first character) and Rank 6 for next ones completing this.

How to get it?

1. Go to Protector Enclave (PE)
2. Meet Lord Neverember (in the Court yard, atop the area)
3. Pick the quest "Unwelcome Guests" (This quest is absolutely doable alone, no matter your IL).
4. Go to the gates and travel to the quest area called "Wyndrake Manor", which you can find in the Eastern-central zone of your map.
5. Follow the dot tracking path, meeting Countess Wyndrake and later the Vistani.
6. Enjoy the cinematic animations that will introduce you to the story (you can't escape from them). 
7. In the following combat against an ambush of werewolves, let the Vistani take the hardest part of the combat if you are not confident in your capacities. If you engage the fiercest of the combat, don't worry, because if you fall, you can return as many times as needed. Eventually, the Vistani will repel the attack, with or without your help.
8. After the fight, head into the road for the Ravenloft Gates and after meet Lord Strahd himself, you will unlock the area of Barovia.
9. Once in Ravenloft, go to the Village of Barovia following the road and avoiding the wild, as they will be plenty on extremely dangerous monsters that will be a peril until you became with 11k+ IL.
10. Once in Barovia, go to the central square, and complete the quest talking with the NPC. She will immediately give you a reward box containing the Vistani Set. Make sure you have space enough in your bags or recover it from the overflow temporary bag if you had not enough space.
11. Replace your old lower IL gear with the new Vistani Set, filling all your equipment slots.

What to do next?

This gear is good for some basic level 60 to 70 areas, to make an easier job in campaigns like EE (Elemental Evil) or Sharandar, but you will be weak for Ravenloft or Chult, where you won't start to feel comfortable and successful until IL 11k+ (depending on your class and skills managing it, of course).

So, you want to keep improving your equipment, boons, mounts and companions.
